A star you are, a star you will be, gleaming dazzle-brightly for all of us to see!
But stupid reckless sparrow had other plotting schemes - a leader magnificent in their wildest dreams!

Puzzling glamor and untimely sigh, “A kingdom of my own!” in petulant cry!
Wicked old Moon, king of the night - in his darkest hour he exerted his might.
...But he was no match for glorious Sun!

Sun-stealing boy, unseelie boy, all reckless and wild, Sun-God themself was merely a child.
Sent them to bed with chamomile teas, although in their dreams they can do as they please.

Gleam dazzle-brightly and do as you please, leader of the skies will now conquer the seas!
Hark herald the fishies and swam through the moats, soon came across the greatest of boats!
A mermaiden in rise, Sun-God sparrow damned deep to watery demise!
Though the murky depths soon become home, sparrow birdy-boy grew bored and began to roam.
Through red-fire gills, through the laughter and thrills, birdy half-crossed the seas - morbid boredom disease!

Trick Mermaiden took pity and thus she did cry:
“Glimmer and twitch, your home is the sky,
Glitter dazzle-brightly, your feathers the key.”
Sun-God thusly set free, for cloudy land did go, Mermaiden made tailwind with a powerful blow.

Then Sun-God woke up from the most terrible of naps…
