𖤓 HONG, THE NEVERENDING PHOENIX 𖤓

BIOGRAPHY:

The hero(ine?) of our tale, and Anton's protégé. A pyrokinetic sparrowhawk, they are the last of a race of humanoid bird-people and don't remember much about their past or who they are at all, really. The word "eccentric" doesn't even begin to describe them, and their identity is shrouded in mystery. (For example, are they male or female? They'd hate to humor speculation, but at the same time refuse to answer such an asinine question.) With the abilities of a phoenix, they are immortal and have been reincarnated thousands of times. Their magic is extremely powerful but unwieldy due to the fact that they'd rather read manga or play video games than practice using it. Besides regular magic abilities, they can also fly using retractable wing feathers. However, it's quite hard for them to do this at the moment as they are currently recovering from a painful injury.

TALENTS:

  • Pyrokineticism & general fire magic skills
  • Flying
  • Overall self-defense abilities & physical strength (can kick your ass)
  • Communication with avian lifeformes
  • Shirking any and all responsibilities to go play video games
  • Driving Anton up the wall

  • DISPOSITION:

Typically a very hyperactive and chaotic individual. Due to their clumsiness and reckless nature, they get injured somewhat frequently. They can act rather self-important, and are prone to scheming at times. They are not very informed of societal faux-pas, which has lead to awkward situations in the past. Slightly dyspraxic, they have poor spacial awareness and run into things/people occasionally.

They have a habit of idolizing those close to them & giving them elevated status, and their outgoing nature has made them familiar with most everyone around. Because Anton has saved their life in the past, they've sworn to defend him until their last breath.

Even though they are normally a very upbeat and cheerful person, they struggle with self-doubt and profound sadness at times. Not unlike Anton, they also harbor a dark past, and the fragmented memories of their past lives hide something upsetting beyond comprehension.
