The last half of the year has gone by so quickly it seems... It's time for me to start thinking about a New Year's resolution.
I think that next year, I'm going to try standing up for myself more. That's something I've always struggled with. Hopefully I'm successful in this endeavor.
I also want to try new mediums of art (an art-related resolution is always a given for someone like me, though). I'd like to get into painting again since I haven't done it in a while^^

I am very excited for Christmas. Even though I'm feeling under the weather and don't feel like hosting or going to any large parties, I think I'll still manage to have fun at home.

Does anyone else remember Megatokyo? (I just indirectly revealed my age with this... yes I am old. Anyways...)
Apparently it's still ongoing. I opened the website and was greeted with a panel from SIX DAYS AGO. What the fuck?! I kind of stopped following it in 2014ish, and even back then it was at the point where it wasn't very enjoyable anymore. I might reread the early chapters to relive the otaku days of the 2000s and 2010s.

Anyways, the reason I bring it up is because my sister keeps saying that Anton looks like the character "Piro". It's in jest, but I made a comparison chart for her because she keeps bringing it up to piss me off. Piro was always my favorite character, so maybe I was subconsciously inspired.

I started making Pinterest boards for Hong & Anton based on imagery/"aesthetics" they'd like. I think I'm kind of addicted to Pinterest, I love sorting & categorizing things and looking at pretty images so it's kind of a guilty pleasure pasttime of mine. Not sure if I'll ever share my Pinterest account publicly, but for those who are interested, just know that it's out there, somewhere...
Now that I think about it, I want to create some YouTube playlists full of music they'd like. I wonder if anyone would actually be interested in that??

Today is pajama day at work, which is awesome because it's been cold and stormy all week. It'll feel nice to be cozy while on the clock, haha^^
In other news, my car's CD player randomly started working again after months of acting up. So now everywhere I go, I've been accompanied by Faith No More's 'The Real Thing' album. I've actually been meaning to go to my town's record shop recently because I only have 2 CDs that are truly 'mine'. (Kind of tempted to steal my mother's copy of 'X live at The Whisky a Go-Go' since she usually uses her aux cord for car music anyway...)

I've been obsessively listening to this album whilst working on volume 3 of my comic. I feel like if I listen to this album on repeat, I get a lot more done and am able to come up with more introspective and violent stories.

Mr. Bungle has been my main hyperfixation and special interest since, like, I don't know, the 6th grade? Their music is one of the biggest inspirations for my art in general.

Going back to my comic, I think that this volume has been going well so far. I enjoy drawing Hong and Anton arguing over stupid shit. Hong is fun to draw because they are cute. I think as my art has gotten better and I've drawn them more, they have become cuter.

Lately I have been working on a very secret project in RPG Maker. My job gives us a week off to celebrate Thanksgiving, so to quell my boredom at home I've been silently plugging away at this little game.

I hope to release it soon, I think it's very interesting and I'm having a lot of fun making it.

I recently purchased the 'Hidden Treasure of Area Zero' DLC for Pokemon Violet, and have been enjoying it a lot! At first I thought that the new characters were super annoying, but now they've actually kinda grown on me.

Yesterday I noticed that I now have 69 followers here. I thought this was funny because I'm incredibly immature.

However, I think this is also a noble number because it means that 69 people in this world are taking interest in my dumb art and characters.
So thank you all, all 69 of you ♡ My next goal will now be 420 followers because that is also a funny number.
